I’m Sam Bernard, and I built Gent Rise because I got sick of scrolling through style advice that either talked down to men my age or acted like caring about how you dress stops at 40.

Turns out, it doesn’t. At 52, I still want to look good, feel put together, and not spend three hours figuring out what “smart casual” even means anymore.

So I started this site as a resource, just real, practical advice for men who want their wardrobe to work as hard as they do.
